Data Deletion Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

You control the connection and you control the data. This page explains how to cut off Autopilot's access to your Google Ads account and how to have the data we already hold deleted.

1. Revoking access at any time

You can revoke Autopilot's access to your Google account yourself, without contacting us. Sign in to your Google account, open the security settings, find the third party connections list, select Ads Autopilot and remove its access.

Revocation takes effect immediately: all further data access stops and any pending writes, including approved changes that have not yet been pushed, are cancelled. Revoking access does not by itself delete data we have already stored; use the request process below for that.

2. Requesting deletion of stored data

Email support@adsautopilot.ai from the account email address, stating that you want your data deleted and naming the accounts or workspace concerned. We use the sending address to verify the request; if we cannot match it to an account, we may ask for further verification before acting.

3. What gets deleted

  • Connected account records, including manager and sub account links and stored OAuth tokens.
  • Cached Google Ads performance data (campaign, keyword, search term, asset and spend metrics).
  • Audit findings and their supporting evidence.
  • Recommendation history and generated reports.
  • Approval logs and rollback records held in Autopilot.

4. What is retained and why

We retain records we are legally required to keep, principally billing, invoicing and tax records, for up to 7 years, as required by Australian tax and financial reporting law. These are kept in restricted systems and are not used to operate the product. We may also keep aggregated or deidentified statistics that cannot be linked back to you or your accounts.

5. Timeframe

We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days of verification, including removal from routine backups on their normal expiry cycle. We send a written confirmation to the requesting address once deletion is complete.

6. Cancellation is not deletion

Cancellation ends your subscription and stops billing and nightly audits. Your workspace and its history remain available so you can reactivate or export.

Deletion permanently removes the data listed in section 3. It cannot be undone, and reconnecting later starts from an empty history. If you want both, cancel and then send a deletion request.

7. Changes already applied in Google Ads

Any change you approved and Autopilot pushed to Google Ads lives in your Google Ads account. Deleting your data here does not reverse those changes. They remain in effect until you change them in Google Ads.

The 30 day one click rollback is a separate feature of the product and depends on the approval records described above. Once those records are deleted, rollback through Autopilot is no longer possible.
